The Lualaba Copper Smelter?S.A.S.?in the DRC is the country's first large-scale, modern pyrometallurgical copper smelting company. Phase I of the project has an annual capacity of approximately 120,000 tonnes of blister copper. It employs a?globally advanced integrated process combining double-side blowing smelting, multi-nozzle top-blown converting, and reduction electric furnace cobalt recovery.
